The only problem with these is the assembly. The instructions look clear but when you get down to it, they are not. I'd swear they are wrong, but I ain't saying it with certainty because I am not 100% sure. The reason I am not sure is that I dropped the manual after 3 tries to fit the legs together and followed common sense and that's when it worked.

However, once done, you forget about the assembly and concentrate on the quality of these. They fit perfectly around our new kitchen's granite island and counter top.

The only add-on you need is good quality felt pads underneath, it makes a big difference.

I got two of these 6 months ago and put them in my kitchen nook. They look great and have held up well over the last 6 months. My dog pulled one of the pegs out but that's my fault for not pounding them in. Putting the stool together was a bit awkward as I remember. I did it by myself but it would have been easier and faster with a helper to hold the legs in place. No wobble, very stable, I've used it as a step stool for changing the light bulb too.

Easy to install. Strong, and holds the weight of my Bose dual speaker. Other reviews had me worried because they said it did not hold the weight, that it tilts even after tightening, and that it was difficult to install. I literally installed it in 15 minutes (ceiling mount in dry wall...not even in a wood stud), and it is plenty solid to hold the weight of the speaker and the ball clamp holds the position just fine when you tighten the bolt enough. Also, the description was clear that you only get one mount with the order. I definitely recommend the product.

I have had a pair of these mounts for nearly 7 years now that suspended my rear surround speakers, which are fairly heavy. I found them to be easy to install, as long as you know how to install wall achors in drywall. They never gave me any problems with comming lose at the ball joint. I read the review stating they thought there were 2 mounts because of the description. That review was in 2003 and it appears Amazon has corrected the title since then. I plan to purchase 2 more mounts to suspend my center channel speaker.

we've tried a few other basic alarm clocks but they all failed to get my deep sleeper out of bed in the morning. Since my 9 year old is into all the interactive toys out there thought this one would be a fun one to try (fingers crossed) My DD loves to 'pet' the clock to see it 'smile', make music. The radio is alright but not the best to find many clear channels but its fine for a kid. We bought this clock and used it for the first time on Sunday. I was suprised that it was loud enough to get my DD out of bed, actually she even woke me up to tell me she couldn't turn it off! The only thing that could be better is if this clock radio was also a cd player. But very happy with this product. My DD is asking for the matching lamp for a holiday gift and I think it just may be under our tree.

I bought this alarm clock for my daughter when she was starting school (5 yrs), mainly because I found it at a local chain store on clearance for practically nothing and it looked fun. I didn't have high hopes for it but it's a good little clock. My daughter loves it. It has snooze feature, volume control, and choice of wake-up noises (including 3 techno funky robot sounds and radio.) The radio tuner is mediocre, but my daughter hardly used this feature, so it was not an issue. Also, you can listen to the radio with the "mouth" open or closed (where the speaker is,) or plug in your own music player and use it as a speaker. Additionally, if it feels vibrations from other music in the room, it will light up with a fun light show. It does have a backup battery feature. Another fun feature, if you pet the top of it, it smiles.

Part of what makes this an effective alarm clock is that the arms on the side clap on the table top, making a knocking sound as the alarm goes off. It does this a couple of times before actual alarm time to rouse sleepers a bit as well. It's kind of loud. If I were using it for myself, I would probably find it annoying, but for my heavy sleeper daughter, it's great.

It "communicates" with the other Beingz items and has an option to allow them to communicate or not. So if you don't want the clock and the lamp making noises at each other, you can put the communication option to "sleep" without turning off the devices completely. We bought the lamp, which was fun for awhile, but not bright enough to be used as a regular lamp and quickly became an item gathering dust. I would not buy the lamp again.

It has lasted about 3 years and just recently quit working. I echo what other reviewers have said about it when theirs quit--looks dead, like it has no electricity getting to it. However, for the abuse that it has taken (getting knocked off a nightstand, etc.) it has held up well.

I give this 4 out of 5 stars because it just quit working out of the blue with no apparent way to repair it. Plus, for all of it's neat features, I don't think any child's clock should cost more than $50. Regardless, it has been a great choice for us and I would recommend this product.

My daughter saved her own money to buy one of the Room Tech Beingz alarm clocks. It worked for several weeks and than stopped working. I would try to plug it in at another time and it would work again and then stop working at random. When I say it stopped working, I mean it was dark and as if no electricity was getting to it. We took it back to the store and got a new one. I got it all set, the alarm worked great for a few days and then one morning, again it stopped working.

I called Hasbro and with relative ease was told, no problem, we are sorry and we will send another one out to you right away. I thought that was really too easy and of course it was. Instead of a new clock, I received a letter explaining that they were all out of stock and couldn't send it right now. I find that really amazing as I look on the Hasbro website and they appear to be available to order and in fact are listed as "in stock". My opinion - don't waste your money on this unreliable product.

I had never heard of the Frisper until I did a search for vaccum sealers on Amazon. My 2nd FoodSaver stopped sealing recently, and after reading online, I figured out that the sealing strip was no longer heating. I was going to purchase another FoodSaver, but was discouraged by many negative reviews. After going back and forth, I decided to give the Frisper a try. The price was reasonable, and I liked that it was smaller than the usual vaccum sealer.

I think this is the newest version of the Frisper, as it has a hose attachment. When it arrived, the first thing I wanted to test was to see if it would work with my FoodSaver canisters. Well guess what...it did! I've used the bags several times now, and haven't had any problem sealing them (like I read about on the other model). I also like that the bags have a zip-lock. Another benefit is that you don't have to hold down two buttons in order to get a good seal. You simply close the lid and the little monster takes off! It seals like a champ! It's nice that it's small enough to fit in a drawer, but I have it on the counter because I think it's cute.

it's quite simple: the unit doesn't seal properly. tried about 10 times, it worked a couple of times, but the frisper is going back to the shop tomorrow. i can create a better seal by manually pressing the air out of a zip lock bag. too bad. i liked the idea.

The Frisper makes a little hole in the bag where it sucks the air out, and is then supposed to create a heat seal around the hole. This has never worked for me and I have been through multiple holes on multiple bags. It has ruined the food that was inside. Looking online, I see that this is an issue for many. I tried to contact customer service through the email address posted on the site and... nothing. I contacted them again and was told to send my issue to another email address (why can't they forward it for me)? Now I have to pay to send it back. I got this through a deal site so they won't give a refund. Sure wish I would have saved my money or just spent it on regular freezer bags.
